According to The Paper, China Daily and other reports, in early May, the Linyi Economic and Trade Delegation brought 28 companies to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to hold a China-Uzbekistan economic and trade matchmaking meeting. More than 100 companies conducted in-depth exchanges in the fields of sheet home furnishings, decorative materials, etc.; Linyi Small and Medium Enterprises Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Uzbekistan.
Signing contract + overseas warehouse: Send "Linyi good things" to Central Asia
At the matchmaking meeting, four Linyi companies including Shandong Yisen Mercure New Materials signed contracts with Uzbek TXT Group, XAN DÉCOR and other companies respectively. The "China-Uzbekistan Yichen Overseas Warehouse" was unveiled in Tashkent, and the Linyi-Uzbekistan two-way trade channel was officially opened. Linyi has previously opened the "Linyi-Tashkent" TIR direct road transportation line, and the combination model of "market procurement + China-Europe trains + TIR road transportation + overseas warehouses" is becoming increasingly mature.
Linyi is an important furniture and wood production area in Shandong. Data from the local commerce department shows that Linyi’s exports to SCO countries in the first four months of this year were 3.08 billion yuan, of which exports of furniture and parts increased by 345.7% year-on-year; from January to May, Linyi’s wooden furniture output was 1.725 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of 37.1%. The layout of Central Asia markets such as Uzbekistan is becoming a new growth pole for Shandong's home furnishing industry.
