Approved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and sponsored by the China Construction Decoration and Renovation Materials Association, the first Central Asia Home Furnishing and Building Materials Whole Industry Chain Expo and Central Asia Commodity Import and Export Expo will be held at the China-Kazakhstan Cooperation Center in Horgos from September 19th to 21st; at the same time, the 90,000-square-meter "China-Kazakhstan Golden City" exhibition and trade center will be opened.

First Tunnel Completed on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway, Adding a Second Corridor from Qingdao to Central Asia

In early September, the first tunnel of the Kyrgyzstan section of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway was completed first, and construction of 26 of the 29 tunnels along the entire line has started; this "Steel Silk Road" connecting Central Asia is expected to be completed ahead of schedule. When completed, it will become one of the shortest land passages from China to Central Asia, West Asia and Europe.
