According to the latest private meeting information released by industry organizations and "Chinese Enterprises Going Global Central Asia", the trade volume between China and the five countries reached US$106.3 billion in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 12%, breaking through the US$100 billion mark for the first time in history; it is expected to hit US$120 billion in 2026. Among them, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have strong demand for imports of home building materials, kitchen and bathroom appliances and other categories, and are generally regarded as high-growth blue ocean markets for Chinese companies to go overseas.
Qingdao home furnishing companies are already taking action
Qingdao companies are moving early: in April 2026, Qingdao Chuanghui Industrial exhibited at the Central Asia Khorgos International Building Materials Export Exhibition. Its modular buildings and quick-assembly tables and chairs drew close follow-up from buyers in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, while the company reached multiple cooperation intentions with distributors and contractors across the five Central Asian countries. Leveraging SCO Demonstration Zone rail services, exhibition procurement matching and overseas warehouse resources, the Qingdao Furniture Association · Eurasia Hub continues to provide members with one-stop market-entry, certification compliance, cross-border logistics and digital enablement services.
Facing a regional market worth hundreds of billions of dollars, furniture and home furnishing companies are ushering in a window period of "from selling products to building channels." Qingdao furniture companies are welcome to join the association and share overseas resources and digital platforms.
