It is at the peak of construction under the "New Uzbekistan" strategy: infrastructure and residential construction are advancing on a large scale, and building materials and furniture are highly dependent on imports. UzBuild (Uzbekistan International Construction and Building Materials Exhibition) held from February 10 to 12, 2026, brought together about 450 companies from 22 countries. China ranked first among international exhibitors with 124 exhibitors (Russia 81, followed by Germany 24). Many Chinese companies obtained orders on site and began to consider setting up factories and overseas warehouses in Uzbekistan.
